Tearful August: Death of a heroic Mujib

Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

Image result for MUJIBOver the course of the year, the night written in blood ink returns to Bengal again and again. Like a stream flowing forever, this mourning fire will burn from time to time. The name of a hero who died is Mujib. In the words of poet Shamsur Rahman, 'Blessed is the man whose name falls in the rain / Singing forever / Comes down the rain of the Shravan / Whose name does not let the dust fall on the air / Blessed is the man whose name falls / The freedom fighters shout.'

On 15 August 1975, a gang of traitors killed Bangabandhu's family and wanted to erase his name forever. But in a life of only 5 years, the bond of deep love that binds the soil and people of the country, that the bond will never be broken. Today is the ninth day of mourning August.
Saturday, August 7, was Saturday. On this day, local representative of the World Health Organization said. Sam Street met Bangabandhu at 9am and Defense Minister Nurul Islam Chowdhury and army chief General Shafiullah at 9pm. Bangabandhu met General Secretary Zillur Rahman at 5 pm and others along with the executive committee members. This was the last meeting and talk with the Baxal leaders of Bangabandhu. The Attorney General met Bangabandhu around 7.30 pm.

The dream of Bangabandhu's lifetime was to establish the independence of Bengal and the nationalism of Bengalis. From childhood and adolescence, he grew up with this ideal. Prepare yourself. Behind his characteristic conviction was deep study, acquaintance, listening and deep insight. He was able to absorb the emotions of the heart enough. Behind him was his compassionate mind to love and help people. Bangabandhu always used to say, 'I am a poor man who loves seven million Bengalis. I can lose everything, but I will not lose the love of the people of Bangladesh. ”
But the killer's team wanted to remove him from his beloved Bengali, the dream of independent Bangladesh. Even though the body was killed by Mujib, they could not remove the beloved father from the heart of Bengalis. So today, the rain of the hearing, the boundaries of the green fields, the water of the seaside along the rivers, the leaves of the trees are also falling. So the poet Sufiya Kamal may have written to this unreliable leader of the people of Bengal, 'The sky, the air, the sea and the river and the river / calling you Bangabandhu, if you come back in Hari / still your seat in Mani / still people are remembering you, parents- Sister and brother. '

The assassins killed the father's mortal body, but his eternal consciousness and ideals were deathly. The killer was not capable of destroying the existence of that great historian. On the day of deep mourning, the Bengali nation, which is free from partial stigma, still remembers Bangabandhu with deep grief and respect. In his poem Rabindra Gop, the father of the greatest Bengali nation of all time, in his poem "Cry of the people of Bengal," Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman writes, "Cry of the weeping people of Bangla / If you are Bengali, come silently, more near / here lies the eternal light Father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
