Joe Biden was finally elected President of the United
States, ending tensions. Four days after the vote, he won 20 electoral votes in
Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Biden received 20 more votes than the 270 electoral college votes needed to win. Out of 538 electoral
votes, he got 290 votes. President Donald Trump received 214 votes. With that,
Trump's hopes of victory were dashed. At the same time, the stalemate over the
results of the presidential election came to an end. The results of the two
states have not yet been announced. Of course, it will not play any role in
determining victory or defeat.
Biden will be sworn in as the oldest president in US history
on January 20. This marks the successful conclusion of almost half a century of
struggle for the highest position in the world's most powerful country. The
victory marks the first time since 1992 that Donald Trump has stepped down from
the White House.
Meanwhile, Biden has begun preparations to take power in the
camp. "I am honored to be elected to lead this great country," Biden
told the crowd in a tweet following the news of the victory. The work ahead of
us will be difficult. But I promise, I'll be president of all America, it
doesn't matter if you voted for me or not. ' He called on the people to unite.
Biden is scheduled to deliver a victory speech on Sunday
morning, Bangladesh time. News of the victory has prompted world leaders to
welcome him. Kamala Harris, of Indian descent, became Biden's first female vice
president of the United States. After the news of the victory broke, he called
Biden and said, "We did it, Joe."
After the news of Biden's victory as the 46th president was
announced, people were seen chanting 'Praise God, Donald Trump has bid
farewell' at the BLM Plaza in Washington DC. Many cried with joy at this time.
In contrast, frustration naturally descends on the Trump camp.
"Biden is rushing to falsely assume victory, and the
election battle is far from over," CNN quoted CNN as saying in a statement
shortly after Biden's victory. The statement said their legal battle would
begin on Monday. Trump said in a statement that the results of the vote count
had not yet been verified by election officials and were in fact media
predictions.
White House sources told CNN that Trump would not
congratulate Biden on conceding defeat. The Trump camp has already begun a
legal battle over allegations of electoral fraud.
But while Trump has not acknowledged the rate, top Republican
leaders have begun to acknowledge Trump's defeat. Already standing on the
opposite pole of Trump, many of the party's top leaders said there was no fraud
in the election.
The 77-years-old Biden made history by being elected the
oldest president in this victory. Earlier, the Democrat leader also created the
history of getting the most popular vote in the history of US presidential
election.
All eyes were on Pennsylvania and Nevada for Biden's
victory. He would have won if he had won any one of them. He was born in
Pennsylvania. According to CNN, Biden received 33,45,724 votes in Pennsylvania.
And Trump got 33 lakh 11 thousand 310 votes. The gap is 34,414 votes. And
according to the popular vote count across the country, Biden got 7 crore 44
lakh 78 thousand 533 votes out of the votes counted so far. His rival Trump got
7 crore 3 lakh 30 thousand 210 votes.
This is the highest turnout since 1900. Biden broke all
previous records in total votes. He received about 4.1 million more votes than
his rival, Trump.
Biden had previously won 264 electoral college votes. He won
in Pennsylvania as well as Nevada yesterday. Through this he got 290 electoral
votes. 270 votes are needed to win. With this, Biden won one of the most
competitive elections in history. He is also expected to win 16 electoral
colleges in Georgia. If that happens, his electoral vote will be 306.
Biden wants to move the United States forward as a
democracy. At the same time, he has pledged to balance the world system by
scrapping many of Donald Trump's controversial policies. He has vowed to
reinstate many of Trump's international agreements, including the Paris climate
deal and the nuclear deal with Iran.
Biden's political life spans five decades. In 1970, Joe
Biden was elected councilor of Newcastle County, Delaware. Then he did not have
to look back. In November 1972, he ran against the then-popular Republican
senator, Saleb Boggs, for the Democratic nomination. Then write the name in
history. At just 30, he was elected the fifth youngest senator in U.S. history.
He served as a senator from 1973 to 2009.
In 1987, Biden announced that he would run for the
presidency from the Democratic Party. However, due to illness, he stopped at
the beginning of primary in 1988. In 2007, he again ran for the presidency in
the party's primary. In that journey, he did not have much advantage against
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Later in 2008, Obama chose him as his running
mate. He served as Vice President from 2009 to 2017.
According to earlier results, Biden was leading by a wide margin
in the Electoral College and Popular Votes. His clear message was, "People
have given us the mandate to go into action." He has already started work.
Until yesterday, all eyes were on the five fruit-hanging
states. Biden was ahead of Georgia, Pennsylvania and Nevada. Trump was ahead in
North Carolina and Alaska. His victory in North Carolina was virtually certain.
Biden would have won any one of them. He eventually won in Pennsylvania and
Nevada.
Anxiety was growing as the announcement of results was delayed.
Biden as well as his supporters, many citizens of the United States and the
world were eagerly awaiting the announcement of the results. However, there was
no fear of Biden falling behind in the counting of votes. However, Trump was
pursuing the goal of defending his face by filing a lawsuit in court. Trump's
last hope is now the majority of pro-Republican judges in the Supreme Court. He
tried to suspend the vote count in important Pennsylvania.
Greetings from world leaders:

Kingdom Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, the
