Trump may leave with a 'scandalous' record in US history
The impeachment of President Donald Trump has come under attack after an armed attack on the Capitol of the United States Congress. U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the plan. The impeachment motion against Trump could be presented to Congress on Monday, the BBC reported. He could be charged with "inciting violent rebellion." House of Representatives Whip James Cliburn said the vote could take place by Tuesday. -BBC
January 20 is the last day of Donald Trump as US President. Democrats are planning to bring charges against him for "inciting a coup". If the impeachment process goes ahead as planned, Trump will be the only president in US history to be impeached twice. That is why the impeachment complaint has to be passed in the House. The matter will then go to the Senate where a two-thirds vote would be needed to remove the president. Not only Democrats but even many Republicans are accusing him of inciting supporters that day. Once the process begins, Trump will be the only president in US history to be impeached twice. And if that happened then Trump would become the first "scandalous" record in US history.
